We’ve done it well: the factory was designed and built with an important aim: to demonstrate that good modern architecture can be functional and still look attractive, which for us was an essential combination.
Obviously, it takes time and resources to succeed, and San Lorenzo didn’t scrimp and save on either of those things. Nowadays, industrial warehouses can be thrown together in just a few weeks, but a hideous blot on the landscape is the price you pay. We took a few years – but it was worth it. But what do we actually do in our new factory?
